Last night, on my walk with Dylan through the park, I saw an old man sitting on a bench reading through some weekly circulars. I asked him if anything good was on sale. He said that jumbo eggs were 2 for 1 and there were deals on a gallon of milk. I told him that I couldn't finish the eggs and milk before they went bad. He said he couldn't either. We laughed. He told me to have some corned beef and cabbage on Saturday. I told him I would. I lied. We smiled as I walked away. Kinda wish I hung out with him a little longer. I think we both could have used the company.
